Our Beloved Bishop was born and brought up in a good God fearing family in a small village in Tamil Nadu, His father Rev. I. Abraham had the call of God while he was working in Mumbai and served the Lord as a Pastor and his mother Mrs. Mary Inbam was a school teacher, she resigned her job and joined in hands in the ministry in a village called Alwartope. This mission minded life style has and is the impact of our Bishops longing to reach the unreached with the word of God amidst any given situation. Awonderful preacher of Gods word, our Bishop received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit while He was seven years old and became the preacher by thirteen years old under the guidance of his Uncle Rev. Dawson Jacob, who was a Dynamic preacher. A well educated personality our Bishop holds a double Master degrees in secular education and a Ph.D in mission.
As the Senior Pastor Rev.A. Mathias was praying and searching for a successor in this wonderful ministry and a husband to his adopted daughter Miss. Hephzibah a prayerful woman and a spiritual mother to many in our cathedral. On fifth September of Nineteen Eighty Four they got married and our Bishop entered into this wonderful ministry completely under Gods guidance. They have three kids a son and two daughters. Our Bishop was ordained into the ministry of God by the Saints of God, Rev. M. Rajendran, Rev. S.P.Daniel, Rev.David Ponnusami, Rev. A. Mathias along with his father on 11th May 1985. After the demise of our pioneer Rev. Mathias, our Bishop took in charge of this prestigious organisation which is flourishing in establishing the Kingdom of God, Our Bishop was consecrated as the Bishop of Tuticorin CEFI DOOCESE on 5th September 2008, at present he is the General secretary of CEFI Diocese.
