A Golden Jubilee celebrating Cathedral, which was founded by our pioneer Rev. Mathias, a wonderful man of God, a firm Church Planter, after his wedding with Mrs. Kanagammal Mathias in 4th December, 1957, sold all they had and bought the present location in the early sixties and laid the foundation of this Cathedral, which was officially opened for worship in the year 1966, Our Dear Lord blessed the church which grew started growing from just four members to a couple of hundreds as miracles and wonders were confirming the word of God in the mission.
Until, our present Bishop, Rt. Rev. Dr. A Stephen, a Mission Minded, Faith Driven, and Humble personality stepped in at 5th September, 1984, since then by the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God our Bishop has led the Cathedral which now has 1500 and above regular attendees.
Since 2013, the Priest In-Charge is our beloved Rev. Sam Jeba Mathias, a Word Driven, Visionary and Missionary Leader.
